We would like to share with you some useful experiences when traveling to Ha Long Bay.

The ideal time for Ha Long tour

Thanks to the clear division of weather, at any time Ha Long is still an attractive tourist destination. If you are Vietnamese, you should go to Ha Long Bay in summer (from April to October) every year. In the winter, Ha Long attracts a large number of international tourists to come here for sightseeing and relaxation.

Summer is the peak season of Ha Long, so you should probably focus on the following stages: from March to May and from August to October and should not go from June to July every year because of the following reason:

- The weekend of June and July is the peak days. The number of tourists to Halong is very crowded so that some visitors will feel uncomfortable and the price of services is getting higher.

- At the same time, according to the nature of the weather, June and July are the months when a lot of typhoons land in the Gulf of Tonkin and Ha Long, so be careful when traveling in Ha Long Bay in this period. It is the best to go to Ha Long soon (from March to May) or go a little later (from August to October).

- If for some reasons, you have to travel to Halong Bay in June and July, you should hire tour operators to organize, and they will help you minimize those two weaknesses.
